To reach the hotel by car:
Enjoy a scenic drive into Northumberland passing the famous Angel of the North at Gateshead travelling on the A1 northbound.
Heading southbound into Northumberland from Scotland, the A1 crosses the River Tweed.
From the west, take the A69 and A66 while the A19 links Northumberland with the Port of Tyne.
The hotel is located off the A697. The hotel website has good driving instructions if you type in the postcode you are travelling from.
Parking at The Linden Hall Hotel is free for guests and there is ample space.
To reach the hotel by rail:
The nearest railway station to your hotel is at Morpeth. Less than three hours from London Kings Cross will get you to Northumberland on the East Coast mainline. Connecting westbound services are run by Cross Country. Morpeth railway station is 11 miles from the hotel so we suggest you pre-book a taxi. Northumberland by air:
Flights land at Newcastle International Airport, a 25-minute drive from Morpeth. Further south, Durham Tees Valley International Airport is just over an hour’s drive south of Morpeth.
To reach the hotel by coach / bus:
The coach operator National Express allows travel to Newcastle and connect with regular local services from Newcastle to Morpeth. Timetables and routes can be found at http://jplanner.travelinenortheast.info.
Arriva bus is the public bus services operator and typical journey times from Newcastle to Morpeth are 30 minutes. A taxi will then need to be arranged from the bus station to the hotel.
