Trip InformationTypified by the mellow coloured limestone mined from local hills and used to build chocolate box cottages and towns, the Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty, covering almost 800 square miles through the five counties of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. The 3000-mile network of footpaths takes us through this region of classic English countryside, rolling flower-filled meadows, green luscious valleys, wild woodland and picturesque honey coloured villages, making the Cotswolds an ideal centre to quietly explore. We will make use of the footpaths winding between villages and often heading for the church spire in front of us. We stay in the picturesque market town of Evesham, just north of the Cotswolds in Worcestershire. During the holiday we will explore charming Cotswold villages such as Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Broadway and many more! During your holiday, you will get the opportunity to visit English Heritage and National Trust properties. There are many named walking trails such as the Winchcombe Way, the Diamond Way and the Cotswold Way. We'll unwind with delicious wines at a local vineyard and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in Broadway. The Cotswolds really is an enchanting place to explore. What's included?
