|Day 1||We fly to Marseille, then comfortably transfer ninety minutes to our ship in Arles. After dinner we stroll through the city immortalised by Van Gogh.|
|Day 2||A walk through the scented Alpilles hills, followed by a visit to the hilltop village of Les Baux de Provence and a dégustation of local olive oils. Cruise to Avignon during dinner.|
|Day 3||A morning in Avignon to visit the famous bridge and Palais des Papes. After lunch we set sail for the picturesque town of Viviers where we stay overnight.|

|Day 6||A morning exploring the historic streets of Vienne, capital of Roman Gaul. In the afternoon the cruise reaches Lyon where the Saone flows into the Rhone.|
|Day 7||This morning we explore the cobbled alleyways and courtyards of Lyon‘s old town, then take the funicular up Fourvière Hill. After a lunchtime cruise to Collonges we walk in Beaujolais wine country near Juliénas, and enjoy some more wine.|
|Day 8||Disembark for the return flight to the UK from Lyon.|
